Polish Forest consists of a 10 minutes video film and series of digital
photographs. It shows south American monkeys jumping on birch trees in typical
polish or central European forest landscape. This work questions natural
order of location of different species. Shows unnatural as natural. It is
a work about globalisation, migration and adaptation. Transfer of plants
from different regions goes on unnoticed, the case of animals is different
is more visible. The work also questions language of the media, it is based
on manipulation and lie. The images that are apparently simple are manipulated
in the process of editing and associating meanings to them.
