Novellikokoelma is a 14 piece collection of 50x70cm photographs which have
been continued with acrylic paint. All photos has been taken in Prague during
14.1.-12.2.2005 and painted in Finland on spring 2005.
Silhouettes from contemporary life show the transience of people in one view;
in another, history becomes the present and future. The two viewpoints cross
each other and touch the presence of man, environment and time in subtle
ways – while presenting two very different perspectives on modern art
that are complementary, intriguing and thought-provoking
Biografie:
Antti Kulonen lives and works in
Helsinki. He has been taken pictures
since 1995 and exhibit first time in
2000. His works has been shown in
several privat exhibitions and some
group exhibitions in Finland and this is
his first exhibition abroad. He
graduated BA in photography 2005.
This collection ”Novellikokoelma” has been
shown earlyer in Helsinki Cabel factory,
cultural centre 2005, accepted in annual
exhibition of union of finnish art
associations 2005 and presented also in
Museum Patrizierhaus, Meißen, Germany on
summer 2006
